Brazilian Business Group Meeting
Hello Friends !
Today we are going to talk about our Brazilian Network Group, called " BBG ".
Twice a month we get together at Cafe Vico restaurant to discuss about our economy, Brazil's economy, business and many other topics.
Our last meeting Giovanni e Fernanda Tavares did a great presentation about their company, Lytron Marketing Agency.
The idea of the group is to promote their business recommending new customers to each other.

World Cup 2014 at Cafe Vico Restaurant
Hello friends!
As we might all know, it's World Cup time.
And for those which aren't going to Brazil for this event you can come here at Cafe Vico Restaurant and watch your favorite team or any other games.
Starting June 12th - July 13th there will be almost everyday a great game to watch.
And nothing is better than watch some of the games with some good wine and beer, and get some great food as well.
You’ll hear the samba drums, watch Lionel Messi dribble through a crowd of hapless defenders, see Neymar play before the home crowds. You’ll be treated to gorgeous natural sights from the Amazon basin when the U.S. plays Portugal in Manaus. You’ll get panoramic views of the Rio beaches, the beautiful bodies, the beautiful game.
So, get ready and come to Cafe Vico for a whole month of fun, soccer and great food.
And don't forget to try the Brazil's most famous drink " Caipirinha "

Our Famous Lasagna Bolonese
Hello Friends,
First of all I would like to welcome you on our new blog.
Here I will share with you some stories, recipes, pictures and more.
And our first post it's about our famous lasagna.
Cafe Vico Ristorante is known for his lasagna. Made with fresh pasta and a thick, creamy sauce, there is no question that this dish will make you a kitchen star to your diners.
Enjoy our lasagna recipe!
Ingredients:
4 pieces of fresh pasta sheets, about 14x11 in
1.5 lbs of sliced mozzarella cheese
Bolognese sauce (below)
ground Parmesan cheese
Alfredo sauce
Bolognese sauce ingredients:
1/2 cup of olive oil
3 lbs lean ground beef
3 cups ground carrots (use food processor)
3 cups ground white onions (use food processor)
3 cups ground celery (use food processor)
2 cups marinara sauce
2 cups alfredo sauce
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp ground pepper
2 tbsp corn starch
Bolognese sauce preparation:
Start heating the olive oil in a large cooking pan at medium heat, add the celery, onions, and carrots, and sautá for 5 minutes. Then add the ground beef and let cook for an additional 10 minutes, until browned.
Drain the liquid and add the marinara, Alfredo sauce, salt, and pepper; mix well; and cook for 20 minutes. Add the corn starch and stir until it becomes thick.
Lasagna Bolognese Preparation: Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Use a baking pan approx 11x14. To assemble, spread 1 cup marinara sauce in the bottom of the pan. Arrange one pasta sheet lengthwise over the sauce, spread a third of Bolognese sauce and top with 1/3 of mozzarella cheese slices. Top with second sheet of pasta, second third of Bolognese and so forth. Finish by covering with mozzarella cheese.
Cover with foil that has been greased or sprayed with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Bake in oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for additional 25 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes before serving.
To finish, cut the portions, topped with Alfredo sauce and some Parmesan cheese.
